Hey Guys,
The main reason for this missive is to express my delight in belatedly discovering
"Leather and Blood" via the Dec./Jan. issue of OC. I confess that my perusal of your
publication is usually somewhat cursory. This is no reflection on "youze guys" (as we
native Pittsburghers say), but rather an indication of my general lack of interest
(philistinish inability to properly appreciate? GRIN...) in the genre you so elegantly
steep yourselves in.
My enfeebled mind remembers Gabe mentioning that you're writing a prequel, but the
fact that you're publishing it serially in OC must have not penetrated the mists I'm
often adrift in. Thus, I was shocked/surprised to stumble upon the story when
checking out the current issue. I was also rendered depressed when I realized this
was the second installment; I obviously managed to completely miss the publication of
the first.

Thanks again for adding me to the mailing list. I loved the Double issue. Durbans'
Shadows on the Sun continues to keep my attention--but I got bored at work the other
day and started reading Splintered Fate.
WOW. These are great Stories. Are they only available in OC or can/will I purchase
hard copies of them either now or in the future. Does Orion Press publish books? If
not, you Should!

Love the Fiction, Leather and Blood, Splintered Fate and Shadows. Really like the

First Rate! I love the magazine--my sister-in-law reccommended it. I especially love
the Holmsian serials--very neat.
