I started doodling and drawing since the moment I was able to pick up a crayon. But it really all started with a book. It was called "The Complete Works of M.C. Escher." and I was hooked. I then moved on to studying Picasso, Dali, Klee, Francis Bacon, De Chirico, Claude Lorrain, Gertler, Grimshaw, Georgia O' Keefe, Ando Hiroshige, Charles Sheeler, That guy who makes faces out of vegetables, and numerous other artists who have influenced me over the years. At some point in the mid 90's, we bought a copy of Photoshop 5 and that was when I started doing digital artwork. I still have CD Roms full of stuff I did in middle school, and its quite interesting to see what I was doing then, and how it's shaped my artwork today. It's a constantly evolving process for me, I never stick with the same thing. One day I might do something abstract, the next I'll do a cute kitty cat. But it's always something I look forward to every day. My wish is that others can get as much happiness and joy out of my work as I do creating it.
To create my work, I use a 6 x 11 Wacom tablet, Adobe Photoshop CS 2, Adobe Illustrator CS 2, Apophylis(Free), Art Rage 2, Bryce 6, 3d Studio Max, Google Sketchup(Also Free), Particle Illusion 3.0 just to name a few...
